Department of English Invites Applications for the Post of Assistant Professor

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Communicative English courses with emphasis on persuasive and spoken communication, technical writing, and business communication.
• Plan and implement effective lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct engaging classroom and language lab activities to enhance learning outcomes.
• Assess student performance, track progress, and provide constructive individual feedback.
• Train students in employability skills including interviews, professional interactions, social media communication, and formal written communication.
• Mentor students in academic writing and preparation of manuscripts for publications.

Essential Qualifications:

• • Postgraduate qualification in English, Communication, Linguistics, ELT, or a related field.
  • NET/PhD preferred in accordance with UGC/AICTE norms.
  • Proven expertise in teaching communication skills, business communication, professional English, soft skills, and employability training.
  • Prior experience teaching Engineering and/or Management students will be an added advantage.
  • Relevant industry exposure, professional training, or certifications in communication or soft skills are desirable.
