Inviting Applications for the Post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, NIST University, Odisha

Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality teaching in Mathematics at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of academic programs.
• Engage in research activities, publications, and funded projects in relevant areas.
• Mentor and guide students in academic, research, and career-related pursuits.
• Utilize ICT-enabled teaching tools and emerging educational technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Participate actively in departmental, institutional, and academic activities.
• Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Essential Qualifications

Eligibility for the post of Assistant Professor shall be as per the latest UGC norms. Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

• Master’s degree in Mathematics with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade from a recognized university.
• Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from a reputed academic institution in India or abroad. Candidates who have qualified NET/SET/SLET are also eligible to apply.
• Consistently strong academic background with demonstrated research aptitude.
• Research publications in reputed journals will be an added advantage.
