Inviting Applications for Post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, NIST University, Berhampur, Odisha

Responsibilities:

Candidate is expected to handle academic, teaching, research and other job duties in the department. Candidate must have excellent communication, presentation, and teaching skill using modern technologies.

Essential Qualifications:

1. A good academic record, having a Ph.D. or Master’s (with minimum 60% mark) degree in the relevant disciplines from a reputed academic institutions/universities from India or abroad.
2. Candidates who have submitted Ph.D thesis can also apply. Professionals from industry/research labs are also encouraged to apply.
3. Suitable candidate should have experience/expertise in the subjects like Python, C#, Programing languages, DBMS, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Big Data, PowerBi, etc. Candidate is expected to have full awareness in the fields like AI/ML, Data Science, IoT, Data Science etc. 
4. Candidates is expected to have minimum of 2  publications in Scopus/WoS indexed journals
5. NIST University reserves right to raise the minimum eligibility qualification 

Salary:

Based on academic qualification, experience and proven track record in research. No bar for the deserving candidates

1. The recruitment to the above posts shall be on the basis of merit through selections by the duly constituted Selection Committee.
2. Applicants should possess the prescribed qualifications and experience as on the closing date of application as prescribed by the university. 
3. The candidates called for interview should report along with copy all the testimonials/certificate along with photo ID. 
4. Applicants are required to submit ‘No Objection Certificate’ as per the service rules of the current employer.

6. Selected candidates will be required to join the posts within one month from the date of issue of the appointment letter unless otherwise permitted specifically.
