Inviting Applications for the Post of Associate Professor in the School of Management Studies, NIST University, Odisha

Responsibilities:

The candidate must demonstrate strong academic leadership and the ability to manage teaching, research, and administrative responsibilities within the School of Management Studies. The candidate should have good communication, presentation, and teaching skills, including proficiency in the use of digital and emerging educational technologies.

Essential Qualifications:
The eligibility criteria for the appointment of Asst. Professor is as per the latest UGC norms. The candidate must meet the following minimum requirements:

1. A Ph.D. degree in a relevant discipline from a reputed academic institution in India or abroad. However, the candidate should have good academic record with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters Degree level, in the relevant subject.
2. A minimum of 8 years of teaching and/or research experience at the university/college level, including roles as Associate Professor, or Professor, or equivalent research experience in a reputed academic/research/industry setting for the post of Professor.
3. A strong research record with at least 3 high-quality research publications in Scopus/WoS-indexed journals and a research score in accordance with UGC guidelines.
4. Proven track record of securing research grants, leading consulting projects, and holding leadership or administrative roles in academic or research organizations.

Preferred Areas of Specialisation: Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following specializations will be preferred:

i. Production and Operation Management

ii. Supply Chain Analytics

iii. Total Quality Management

iv. Operations and Supply Chain Management

v. Project Management

vi. Sourcing Management

vii. Business Analytics and AI in Management
